He was born in Italy, with quirkless parents, he got his quirk at 3, and accidentally killed his father. His Mom fears him, and thinks he's the 'Anti-Christ', she abandoned him, and so he has abandonment issues. 

He also wanted to be a hero, but then decided to be a villain for fun.
