The difference between Taurpio and Capricer sure is something on my Tomodachi Life island. Like there is such a huge difference
          
          Taurpio, my longest lasting couple on the island, on one hand has been stuck in the “wants to marry” standstill. Like both of them expressed it. But instead of doing something about it I either see the two of them in a cutscene or Scorpio strummimg a guitar and playing a song about Taurus (its to the point that I had to create a treasure which is ‘Scorpio’s hit single’ and everyone in the island is in love with it). Most of my travel tickets are given to these two smh. I don’t even know what these two are planning. My friend called it a slowburn and I kinda see it.
          
          Meanwhile Capricer followed a trope (Capricorn fell in love first btw at first sight… and Cancer when the two became besties.), got married and just today they are thinking about raising a child. And oh yeah, Pisces moved into their home too.
          
          Its crazy.
          Btw updates on the island: I added in Aquarius, Libra and Virgo (Libra took the longest to create). Aries gained a crush on Aquarius after accidentally dropping a shopping channel show. Sag and Gemini kept getting in awkward conversations with each other . Leo wanted to room with Sag but their topics did not align (Sag wanted to do painting). But thats about all lol. This game is fun.
          
          

So played Tomodachi Life for a couple of days and I have to say its pretty fun. So far I have added in everyone from the main cast of the WIP except for Virgo, Libra and Aquarius. But on the same island I added some irls including my dog, and my sister added some miis including Barry the bee and Shrek.
          
          But some notable milestones of the island named after the brightest star lol: 
          - Taurus and Scorpio got together. And every time I see a cutscene from them they become so sappy.
          - At one point before Taurpio got together, Scorpio also gained feelings for Aries but stuck with Taurus. 
          - Its even to the point that at one point Scorpio was gifted a guitar, so every time I hear a guitar the song is about Taurus. That somg is even praised to everyone atp I may need to make an album.
          - and oh yeah Taurpio moved in together.
          - Pisces struggled to make friends but got along well with Capricorn… but also got on well with Shrek, Sue Sylvester and the Green M&M (my sister added those last three miis not me)
          - Yuri Capricer happened! Capricorn feel in love first when I added Cance to the island. And Cancer after being besties with Capri, fell in love after Capricorn was sniffing the flowers? Theh spent time together at each other’s places which btw is pink and green (iykyk)
          - and yesterday they got married before Taurpio. keep in mind Capricer got together after a day and Taurpio is close to a week atp
          - Taurpio did attend the wedding tho
          - also not involving my miis but a pop singer wanted to confess to shrek I helped but my SISTER as a mii also confessed too and Shrek picked my sister????? I made an album after this in game which everyone gossiped about lol
          - The pop singer also wanted to be friends with that same sister and they bonded over “getting revenge”. 
          
          but thats all that happened. may add updates if everyone wants to see this happening. 
          

You know I have been thinking about how I do announcements on here. Like I have been analysing my last announcement, my birthday one, and it has got me thinking about how I should do this feature in the future. 
          
          How do you guys want to see any announcements from this point on? Do you want it to be detailed or keep it short and simple? 
          Do you want the announcements to be more serious or to have more engaging ones like the “shake hand in character one”?
          
          Also I have been thinking about those posts talking about characters in different situations. I love it when authors do that. Like for example if the situation is “at a karaoke”- the author shares what their characters would do. I wanna do that with the Mixed Signals cast as a getting to know each member of the team. 
          Are you guys okay with that or should I wait until the book is published to do that?

So I watched Project Hail Mary for the first time yesterday as a “day before birthday” thing with a friend. And if I had to sum it up it was “amaze, amaze, amaze”! That movie made me laugh, made me amazed, made me scared, and even made me sob to the point I got a headache. I absolutely love this movie, and I could not have recommended it (but be mindful of the rating).
          
          Anyways birthday is today, I wish I can watch the movie again.

          In all seriousness, coming up with a team name is difficult. Like I am trying to find a name for a superhero team that sounds cool. No I am not taking “Zodiac” as an answer, as cool as that sounds.
          
          So far I got the word “Astrals” in mind but idk I would go with this. Idk I am finding it difficult bc one idea ends up being used by someone else smh. Is this how coming up with a group name feels like bc my goshhh its difficult. 

I may delete this post but I have a question for the writers. Readers you can also contribute to this but I need to hear some thoughts. For any writers on here have ever experienced having a set plan in place and you are comfortable with it until another idea pops up which may change your initial plan? And that change ended up making your plan better in some way?
          
          Idk how to explain it but I’ll give context. In the past (like months ago) I remember sharing a few ideas and people  liked the idea of a secret agent team not collaborating and they must try to find a way to work together. The plot is still the same however I have been thinking about making the characters a superhero team instead. And there are reasons for this.
          1) Plot has a bigger impact: The team is appreciated by the general public and are well known. Them not collaborating would be a major impact on their image especially as a team of heroes.
          2) It makes more sense in way especially with the characters having superhuman abilities.
          3) Themes: I want to tie in some themes such as duty, identity, power, and recognition.
          
          I have also decided to change the title to “Mixed Signals” mainly cause the other one felt too lengthy.
          
          I feel like I enjoy the changes more than the initial idea. It has made me more motivated and  since thinking about,  and it opened pathways to new ideas including the setting, characters, themes and story. But I am worried what others may think of it. 
          
          I know in the end its my story but would people still like the idea even with changes? Please let me know your responses bc this is something I am worried about.
          
          Also apologies if this makes no sense at all.  One thing’s for sure is that I need to go with an idea and stick with it next time

Lately I have been thinking about changing my username here. Even though I am so used to my current user, I am ready for a change. So I may or may not change it.
          
          If I ever get around to changing my username, I’ll let you guys know just to avoid confusion idk.

Is it just me or this site feels more like an abandoned town. Like it’s actually chipping away motivation to get new works out there. 
          
          I have been on this app for a long time. Back then things felt more lively. I wish for those times again but hey we gotta do what we gotta do. But I really hope things get lively here again.
