Man... As a believer reading horror romance rich with culture-accurate rituals sukuna x reader... I just realise Sukuna is so freaking scary as a djinn

I need to tell you about an amazing Sukuna x reader fanfiction "Best Friend's (Older Brother)" by "seeingivy" in Ao3. It's elaborate, romantic, emotionally mature, and conflict-rich. And although the theme is quite mentally and emotionally heavy, the author did an amazing job of creating a conflict resolution through an in-depth conversation (not without a character's struggle) of clear, defined emotions. The fluff part is also cute, the relationship between Sukuna and the reader is well-built, and it's quite philosophical (in a way) so yes it is very romantic. But I like that it's not just a surface level of a fight-kiss-and-makeup. It's heart-to-heart. I recommend you guys to read it ❤

Good news. I finally got the data for my thesis haha finally processing it. I might update my story in July or August, it depends on my life HAHA but thank you for your support! Also, happy Eid. It's that time of the year we make sacrifice for Sukuna (me)

Btw the old chapters of Ikuzo, Temera! are just saved in my drafts, they just need a bit of rewriting because it's not narrative enough imo. English is not my first language so yeah . When it comes out, the plot won't be much different.

Foreigners acting disrespectful in Bali as if they won't piss off the djinn or hurt the locals. Wait until they have literal NAILS in their stomach out of nowhere. Yeah, medicine here knows it's sihyr/santet/curse/sihr. It's pretty common to curse people like this. Believe it or not you decide. But at least be respectful.

Man I don't even live in Bali just somewhere else in Indonesia. But everytime I see foreigners creating exposure that potentially raises the chance of gentrification, I feel frustrated for the Balinese people. Not just that, but some did stupid disrespectful racist thing publicly.

Moreover, Bali is sacred and mythical. I dunno about other ppl who don't believe in the unseen but I do since I'm a moslem. They're real lemme tell you. And if they get possessed or anger the djinn, LMAO, I can only imagine. They still need the local priests or shamans to save them. They just don't appreciate and respect it. All they know might be just Gojo Satoru. Nah, man. It's the real deal. There are a lot of priests, religious figures, and shamans protecting the area and pacify the spirit.

The problem isn't with visiting Bali but it usually starts with foreigners choosing to LIVE in Bali because it's inexpensive, unaware of the danger to local economy it may bring. It may increase property prices, shifts demands from traditional local shops and markets to modern luxurious villa and restaurants, cultural shifts, and employment and wage disparities

@lunarheian sorry to spook you pookie! Visiting for holiday is okay, don't feel bad. Tourism itself can be positive for local business, giving jobs and income for the residents and region. Bali is beautiful and the country appreciates tourism income. It's just that we have a systematical problem of gentrification. To mitigate this, support local business, participate in community-based tourism, be culturally sensitive and avoid large international/foreign business chains that contributes to gentrification :3

I raised my fingers to unleash my domain, but from the swirling dust and scattering debris emerged a figure—a haunting shadow that shimmered like a dark mirage in the air. My heart skipped a beat as a pair of familiar azure stared at me. The ghost I buried with my own hands. It cannot be... My mind was locomoting a train of thought, carrying cargos of possible reasons that could bring him back. Satoru Gojo, standing scornfully with his usual savy of self-confidence. I was distracted. And the brat punched another black flash.
