[ it had been a long day, a day which he'd drank, among other things to forget. upon glancing at the time he'd realized today was the day, he weaved through the crowd at the noisy club before he was snatched right up. apparently he'd slept with this guy's girl and he got the beating for it. once he was finished with him he sat against the wall, pulling his phone out to tell bea he was running late. after grabbing some napkins to stop his nose from bleeding he hopped in his car and drove the familiar route to her place. when he came in he looked rough as ever, his nose still sort of bleeding and so evident swelling around his eye. ] “ sorry, ah. got caught up. ”
