time he reached adulthood, tate had built a life out of
careful balance. college, work, and raising juno all
exist side by side, held together by routine and sheer
determination. for a while, that meant sharing a
cramped dorm room, bending rules just to keep his
brother close. later, it meant an apartment where they
could finally breathe, though the habit of staying
within arm's reach never really faded. through it all,
tate remains what he has always been at his core:
gentle, patient, and unwaveringly devoted. not
because the world has been kind to him, but
because he refuses to let it take that from him too.

took the lives of their parents and left tate with a
barely month-old juno in his arms. his childhood
ended that very moment. with no one left to fall
back on, tate took it upon himself to step into a role
he was never meant to fill so soon. at the age of nine,
he started to raise his brother alone while he was still
a child himself. his intelligence turned from curiosity
into survival. learning how to provide, how to hide
what they were, and how to stay one step ahead of
a world that had already taken everything from them.
