//this trip is the best. if you ever have the chance to visit washington dc and gettysburg do it! have a good tour guide and a good senator to get you into the white house (; also visit the capitol building (they have amazing food in their capitol cafe)! absolutely amazing! the holocaust museum really put things into perspective and i learned more in there than in a classroom. visit arlington national cemetery and pay your respects to the lost soldiers and watch the changing of the guard at the tomb of the unknown solider. air and space, national history, american history, and national archives are must go to museums! visit the washington monument/reflection pool, lincoln memorial, korean war memorial, jefferson memorial, mlk memorial, fdr memorial, ww II memorial, iwo jima memorial, vietnam wall memorial, and embassy roe. have an amazing time if you do get to go. honestly, i have one more day, and i am disappointed i have to leave.
