RANDOM MEMORY ALERT: Idk why it came to me but it did, and I gotta share because one of two things will happen if I don’t. A) I’ll probably never remember it again or B) I’ll regret not sharing the darn thing.
So I’m in my English composition class my freshmen year of college, and I’m partnered up with a guy I went to high school with. Yada yada yada, well he’s struggling to understand what the hell our professor is teaching (because college, amiright?) Anyways I’m helped by him through it, and in the middle of explaining comma splices, he says “You’re pretty good at this. Do you wanna be a teacher or something?”
Naturally, I laughed. A teacher? Hell no. Who would wanna put themselves through four years of college to get paid less than a Family Dollar employee??? (No shade) Not me. At the time my major was pre pharmacy. I told him politely that teaching wasn’t my thing, but I was glad I could help him out.
Well.......
Fast forward to now and I currently have an associates in elementary education and I’m about to start on my bachelors to become a 3rd grade teacher.
Like, what is life???
To the guy that asked, can you see the future or are you intuitive?? Cause I have some questions about my future.
