You see there are a couple types of people on here. The readers: They only read stories and never post. The all arounders: They do both. Most of the time they will take requests and will read your stories. Be careful though some can take a lot of offense if you ask. Then there are the populars: For instance @BelWatson her stories are ALWAYS number 1 because they're amazing! Now a few words of warning. Do not spam people for follows or reads, especially populars. They get so many request already it'll get tiring. You need to earn reads on your story by updating and staying patient. You can also join threads, found under the community bar, and you can advertise your story. You will want an editor and people to make banners for you if you can't. Always have a picture for your cover. If not most readers will just skip past it. Next have and interesting title. You'll need one that'll catch people's eyes. Again, remember to update regularly and stay connected to your followers. Never become to comfortable with your social status.
