August 2015:
*Enjoy reading the fruitful, talented writers at watt.pad.
*Just finished editing another author's book. Cool, scifi! So much talent, not enough time to read it all.
*Another published author is picking up my book; we're switching books and giving critiques on our works.
*Meeting Wednesday night with out talented writers' group!
Okay, I have been spending time on wattpad (months now) looking about in the incredible werewolf club. Wow! It is daunting looking at all the good reads and the postings. When I see all the readers who crave reading interesting werewolf stories, it makes me feel proud to see the 1,000's who enjoy coming together and conversing/sharing their interests.
As a young child,I grew up both on an island with zero technology and a busy city. My teen years were spent growing up with a lot of open land, a nearby alluvial pond, wildlife, a wide creek, and the four seasons.
I enjoy both nature and what technology does to make life less of a struggle and more meaningful.
I have had poetry and a book published.
You guessed it! A historical romance, adventure set between the New World and Old World. Yes, it is the secret world of werewolves, their loves and friendships, their fears and romance, their beliefs and values. My book is Within Werewolves and it is found in Amazon.com (Linda Wallace).
I love writing and especially hearing what other writer's write. Twice a month, our group of writers meet and discuss our work. It is a wonderful process to listen to the birth of ideas, to hear the polishing of writer's work, and to see the work blossom into a strong work.
I'm a member of the Writer's Romance of America and meet other authors through monthly meetings. Recently, our South Bay reading critique group has been going to Lastat's and working with a San Diego Writers' Ink group. We're broadening our horizons and attending the Upstart Crows poetry night. Creative people are wonderful!
