I grew up in Columbia Heights, Minnesota and developed a passion for writing at 11 (starting plugging away at the keyboard on a novel). I went on to spend a lot of time running away from writing, but now have a BA in English.
As life would have it, I have now discovered a new passion in the tech industry called GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and am looking to go back to school for it.
I have a husband and a toddler. I run a Writer's Group on the side and it keeps me focused on my writing life. One day I hope to publish a successful novel.
I love the community here and am so glad I found this site.
