iii. her brother returned with her with a limp and they were both tested to see if they returned human. kai failed and just as quickly as her pack welcomed her with open arms; they drew their silver weapons. jace pled her case saying that if she didn’t disobey orders, he’d be dead and so they made her a deal: she can never come back home or they’d kill her without a second thought. now, with all her knowledge, and weapons capabilities, kai ventures out into the world, without a pack, without a family; still hopeful and kind, with a newfound hardness in her shining brown eyes. 

ii. one night, her and her siblings started a turf war with a local pack and those wolves wanted them to answer in blood. with only a week to prepare, kai and her friends created an elaborate battle plan, encasing the woods of louisiana in werewolf proof traps with kai only having one direction: stay put and draw her weapons when she sees the eyes of her target but she saw one of her brothers get hurt and had to jump in. rafael, an ambitious and eccentric member of their pack tortured her brother jace and turned her as punishment, a “lesson” he called it.
