Story time: My senior year of highschool I found out I was legally blind I told my math teacher, and she gave me a braille ruler to use. In my head I was like: I don't know how to use braille, also I may be legally blind but I can still read!

I could never see writing on boards myself when I was in class. I am nearsighted as well. Nearsighted means you can go to an eye doctor have them hand you a piece of paper with different sized text passages on one of them being super tiny letters and be able to read them aloud while holding the clipboard which holds the paper on it.
