          I know I’ve taken a really long break, and I truly want to thank each and every one of you who stood by me during this time. When I shared about my book being copied, the amount of support, kind words, and encouragement I received meant more to me than I can ever explain. The issue has been resolved now, so let’s leave it there and move forward.
          
          I’ll be taking one more month’s break, but I promise you—by the first week of February, I’ll be back with a new story, and this time with regular, everyday updates. Please bear with me just a little longer.
          
          Many of you have been with me from my very first story, Blooming Love from Hate Itself, and that bond truly means the world to me. If you’ve read my stories so far and have a Goodreads account, I would be incredibly grateful if you could leave an honest review there.           I know I’ve taken a really, really long break from you all. I’m honestly sorry for making you wait like this. I might need a little more time before I come back to Wattpad, and to be very honest… I’m actually scared to return.
          
          Many of you already know what happened, but for those who don’t — my book Mis(s)matched (both Book 1 and 2) was completely copied by someone. One of our readers messaged me on Instagram saying, “Author, this story looks exactly like yours, please check it.” And when I checked… she had literally uploaded my entire book. Everything. Just the character names were changed.
          
          She had combined both books and uploaded them as a single story with around 70–75 chapters. I was honestly shocked.
          The story has been removed now, but I still don’t know how she even got full access to my books. Maybe she bought them — I have no idea. But seeing my work copied like that while she got compliments for it… that hurt. A lot.
          
          What made it worse was reading the comments. Readers were appreciating the story thinking it was her original work. And on her profile, none of her other stories even crossed 1K reads… but this stolen one crossed 75K. Imagine how that feels for an author.
          
          She even copied my signature “bi bi.”
          Who does that?
          
          As a published author, this honestly scares me. I give my stories here for free because I trust you all. But incidents like this make me feel my work is being misused and taken for granted. I don’t even know if it’s safe for me to post anything here anymore.
          
          I just need some time to process everything.
          
          And yes — about my next story. It won’t be “Can We Begin Again?” I have another storyline in mind. Since our last book was also village-based, I don’t want to repeat the same theme immediately. I’m thinking about a fresh concept.
          
          Please wait for me.
          I’ll come back… or maybe I might not. But whatever decision I take, I’ll let you all know.
