Every senator who has participated in the last season will be allowed to join the Senate Alumni Server, even if you are leaving the Senate. This server will be solely for casual fun and chatting; no senate talk will happen. If you are not 100% committed to the Senate’s workload and would prefer to just be in the friend group, Admin asks that you withdraw from the Senate and allow others a chance.

@A_Demigod_Community hi!! That all sounds super exciting, and i love the alumni server idea :) As for next season: does this mean you’d rather not have semi-senators anymore? I would love to kind of jump in on senate projects every so often if it’s cool with you guys still, but I’m still unable to be a full senator. I absolutely understand whichever decision you make, I just want to make sure I’m not overstepping. Either way, I’ll definitely stick around in the community and on discord :)

@lys_potterhead It's always a thrill to have you on board, Lys! Thanks for continuing with our team :) Pretty much everything is optional unless stated otherwise, or we specifically ask! For example, we’ve added tasks in the past for the semi-senators that weren’t optional. Checking Wattpad is a good idea, and while we like that everyone checks the messages, you don’t have to! It’s part of the perks of the semi-senate; it's a very relaxed and flexible position. Just communicate when you can, try to get in one or two tasks a month, and ultimately don’t fully ghost. Honestly, you can do as much or as little as you want since this position was made for members who either really can’t commit or need a break but don’t want to fully leave. That’s why we only have two spots for it. So, yeah, you’re doing great; no need to change anything unless you want to.
