          ||the more i think about it, every relationship ive ever been in ive been pressured about kids. whether its intentional or not, the conversation always comes up. and everytime, my answer is the same. i dont want kids, ive never wanted kids really, and i dont plan on having them. its just a personal preference, and yet every relationship im in they always are like "oh, but i love kids their amazing & cute & its a beautiful thing to raise one." i get that, and i do understand. ive practically had to raise my little sister, and i dont think its offensive to say that i don't want to. its not for me, and i'd really prefer not to. then they usually get upset and i feel like i have to say "well...maybe" and then i feel bad about it.
          
          ive been out as asexual for almost 6 months & im happy with that conclusion. when i start dating someone again, i want to be able to spend time with /them/ and go to places with /them/. i dont want the stress of having another littler person running around, and i honestly just dont think parenting is for me.
          
          again, im not saying this to offend anyone, i think its great and honestly impressive for the people who want and have kids, but its just not a responsibility i think i'll ever be ready to take on. yes, i may change my mind, but /i/ want to change my mind, not have people force it onto me.
