@m4norris - Hey author!! I just finished reading Colliding Lanes and I seriously loved it. This story is SO good. I absolutely adore what you did with Isabela’s character — her dynamic with Brian is everything. You really made the story your own by adding original scenes, giving her lines from other characters that fit her perfectly, and letting her have her own voice. It suits her so well.
I also loved that you had Brian and Isa start their family early on — it’s so refreshing to see something different since a lot of stories stick closely to the movies. The sibling bond between Mia and Dom was beautifully done too. But omg… Isa and Brian. I can’t stop talking about them. The nickname “blondie” was perfect.
And when Letty mentioned being in the DR with Dom and encountering Han?? That little hint about Han being Isabela’s ex had me SHOOK. I need to know how Brian is going to react to that, and we already know Dom is going to lose it when he finds out Brian was running with Letty… but how is he going to react when he realizes Isa knew too?? Whew.
Now with them going on the run to Brazil soon… they’re going to have to take Jack with them unless they leave him with Mia — unless Mia ends up going on the run too Oof, there is so much to take into consideration and my mind is spinning just thinking about it.
I’m also super curious about how involved Isa is going to get with Braga’s cartel — I feel like things are about to get intense. Are you planning on doing the whole Fast franchise, or stopping around the seventh installment? Either way, I already know it’s going to be amazing. I can’t wait to see where this story goes — it’s absolutely worth the wait.
