I'm back after a long absence from translation. I'm primarily working on "Tonight, in Every Bar in Town," a novel by Ramo Nakajima. It's a fictional reflection on his bout with alcoholism. I found it a very interesting novel. I hope to translate the whole thing and have it published for real.

Back and ready to complete two projects: Kyoto Ghost Story and Moonchild, both are 1/3 to 1/2 done. Just need to put in the time! As soon as I start, a translation client contacts me with work. Check out my new ghost story (Chapter 0 of Kyoto Ghost Story)!

FatalisNox

Thanks for the follow! How is it possible to write so much in such a short time? Bravo!

FatalisNox

@FatalisNox I'm aware of that little fact. Must be funny to tease them occasionally with it. I'm currently in New Zealand and when I speak more than two languages people have the urge to run away. For the most languages I speak goes the following: I can't speak it fluent, usually a few sentences or words. So Dutch is my first language, English second, German third, Spanish fourth. I haven't spoken Spanish in 5 or more years so that knowledge is almost completely gone, the same goes for French and Swedish. Japanse is something I would like to learn, I've got an app to learn the characters. except for the kanji ones. I hope to go to Japan next year for a bit so that's my motivation to learn them. Quite impressive that they can speak two languages, how old are they?

@FatalisNox I don't know, but I have 3 daughters that speak both Japanese and English and when I talk to them in Japanese in front of Americans they look like they saw a ghost. It's weird for most Americans, because as you probably know, they're not bilingual.

@FatalisNox Ahh, how is it possible that you went from one place to another? I guess learning a language is always interesting. English is my second language, I can't remember how it started for me. However I'm still expanding my knowledge. I guess because I speak more languages it gets blurry some times. If I get back home I'll have to speak more German and Dutch instead of English or Japanse but that doesn't matter.

Silly tripe is the best of all! Especially silly tripe that reoccurs sporadically through the book. Love the Death Unicorns cover btw =)

Wolfwhistle

@matth0dge I hope to avoid the second part there. >.< But man, you're just churning out story ideas!

@Wolfwhistle Well, I was jogging today and thought out the plot to this travesty of a dystopian story. It will shock you, and then gore you in the rectum.
