Happy New Year everyone! 
          Sana ay huwag tayong sumuko sa hamon sa buhay. Remember, Jesus has already conquered the world. Finished work na ang Greatest sacrifice which was the crucifixion on the cross! He rose and will come back soon. Today is the day of salvation, so accept Him as your Lord and Savior.
          
          Repent. Ibig sabihin ay talikuran na ang mga kasalanan. Yes, we are not perfect and will still fall short every day. Alam Nya iyon yet He still chose to bear our sins. Alam Nya, pero mahal Nya pa rin tayo. That was what the cross for. To save us from eternal damnation, sa dagat-dagatang apoy.
          John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life.
          
          Hindi ang actions or 'works' natin ang susi or ticket para makapasok sa kaharian Nya. It is Jesus. How? Accept and believe that Jesus 'saved us'. Do you know that Jesus derived from the Hebrew name Yeshua, meaning "Yahweh saves".  Christ comes from the Greek word "Christos," translating the Hebrew term "Mashiach," or "Messiah," meaning "anointed one". 
          Thus, "Jesus Christ" signifies "Jesus, the anointed One" or "Jesus, the chosen One". He is recognized as the divine Son of God and the Messiah, fulfilling a significant role in reconciling humanity to God.
          
          We are not of this world. We belong in heaven. Satan is the God of this world, that's why The Holy Bible said, "Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind." This verse is part of the Apostle Paul's exhortation to Christians, urging them to live in a way that reflects their faith rather than the prevailing cultural norms.
          Maikling kwento lang: Dati, Jesus rode a donkey before entering Jerusalem. The donkey was a symbol of peace and Humility. This event was called the Triumphal Entry.  Soon, He will come riding a horse. Do you know what a King riding a white horse means? It's war.
