Hey girl !! I absolutely have to write you this message because I don't feel like myself anymore. I really hope you'll reply; it would mean a lot to me.
Before reading your masterpiece, I thought Wattpad was nothing but a bunch of « bad stories ». That was before you came and tore my heart out with such elegance. It devastated me.
I was in such a state that my sister thought something serious had happened. And as I read Esme's letter to her aloud, my voice kept cracking under the weight of emotion.
Your writing style is seriously dangerous—how is it even possible that I’m crying as if the love of my life just died? Plus I loved the way you balanced the romance and the investigations, that was perfect.
I saw several comments saying "I hate you" as a joke (which is understandable, given the ending you wrote). Even though I felt terrible and empty after reading your book, you also made me happy, because I thought to myself: "Yes, this is it—we are human beings, this is what makes us alive." In a world where we just scroll past things without ever feeling any emotion, this story was like a breath of fresh air—chilling, yet necessary.
I know this won't change anything, but please, be honest. In the prologue, you say that you had the whole story planned out from A to Z right from the start. Did you plan for Spencer and Esmé to have a future together ???
I have a few other questions, too: how long did it take you to bring us this story, and did you have another job while you were writing it?
No matter what career you choose, I know you’ll be amazing.
I wish you so much happiness.
Also, I will never read another Wattpad story after yours. Never
