I'm the girl at the back of the room. The one who everyone makes fun of, even though I don't open my mouth. I'm the girl who hears the conversations that aren't supposed to be heard. I read and write because when I'm writing I can be a different person. I can be whoever I want to be. I can be pretty and skinny, or I can just be me. I can be my true self. Not in a classroom. You see me as a child, and innocent little flower, but I am not. I'm not the person everyone thinks I am. When people look at me, they see who they want to see. No one really knows who I am. Maybe I don't really know who I am, but I'd like to find out. Some say you must ride on your own melting, that you find yourself in your own undoing. Well, I really hope that's true.
