When I started writing this book, I genuinely had no idea where it would go.
Callen and Marina were meant to be the main villains—but somewhere along the way, the story took a turn.
One that felt right. That’s when the guardian was introduced, and everything shifted.
The moment I finally figured out how this book would end, I was so excited that I spent nights lying awake, just thinking about the day I’d actually get to write it.
And now… here we are.
