@Daria4496838 cliffhangers!!!!!! ofc as readers we get very "frustrated" at cliffhangers but in a good way. It makes us want more. Also, when I first published my story, I asked one of my friends to vote and comment on my story for more engagement and I did it for my own story with another account. Of course, i didn't rely on it and made sure my writing was engaging but it helped for sure! Have a more consistent uploading schedule, I would say. The reason my story blew up at first was because I was updating pretty much everyday, so maybe try doing it 2-3x per week or even every day if possible (of course that is a little time taking but it may be worth it!)
@madameclueless , that one is really helpful. Another question would be: How do I keep my reader interested in the story? I have a few that read it, but none gives me any feedback, even if I ask for it. I don’t really know how to stay motivated.
