i don't even know if you are active on this account anymore, but i just finished reading "helpless"! it's truly an amazing book. you have such a way with words, and you were blessed with the ability to write so emotionally. it amazes me how well you captured ponyboy's cancer. i've known people who've had cancer, but not the personal details, such as you touched in this book, so it was educational in that way. you also beautifully wrote about the grief they experienced after deaths, and especially the recovery. thank you for writing this story!
