hi loves! sorry for the delayed update, i’ve been busy. i return with a couple new things to share:
          
          • i have unlocked a new fandom !! it’s a podcast called the magnus archives, and i already made an oc, so a tma fanfic may come down the pipeline someday.
          
          • i’m having my ford pines “i began to keep a journal” moment rn. so far i only have three pages partially filled, but eventually this thing is going to be FULL of random oc stuff (primarily author’s notes to help me understand my characters better, but who knows? i may share it with the world)
          
          • and then, the most important thing: a release date! chapter one of black star: hydra war will be coming out on 1 december 2024! see u all then mwah

after a few weeks of procrastination (i was grinding in bloxburg to build an eras-themed hotel lmaooo), i spent four days grinding in google docs, and finished all the editing for my asoue fanfic.
          
          so, with that, i am delighted to announce "a tale of wretched occurrences: the beginning" will begin publishing on 14 june!

okay!! so!! i finally finished editing "black star: the legend begins"!! it took way longer than i thought it would, but in my defense swim season took up 97.2% of my free time until late april. the word and character count should FINALLY stop changing (at least until i swap out stolen "...ready for it?" with taylor's version once rep tv drops ) i doubt i was able to edit out all the cringe, but hopefully it makes more sense this time around 
          
          and now i'll be going straight into editing for my asoue fanfic !! i'm going to try to get it published by late june (just in time for pride month woo ) but i don't want to give a certain date yet because it isn't ready and i don't want a repeat of what happened with black star lmaooo (i'll give lexi better treatment next time around i've learned from my mistakes)
          
          alright, that's all the news i have for now. back into the writer's dungeon i go!

"black star: the legend begins" is fully published. wow. five years of countless rewrites, format changes, character updates, and complete scraps have lead to, well, right now.
          
          i still have some final editing to do because my dumbass back in august got wayyy too excited to actually publish this thing and conveniently forgot to edit the story before publishing — hence the constant word/character changes. but there won't be any more new chapters. because this story is officially out in the world. i still need to wrap my head around that.
          
          now, is it still cringey after all this time? yeah, probably. will my final editing get rid of all the cringe? most likely not. but do i care? not in the slightest.
          
          writing is my favorite thing in the whole wide world. and though the writing quality on this is a bit shaky, it's still one of my favorite things i've written — and i don't think that will ever change.
          
          lexi has already spent nearly half a decade with only me for company. it's time for her to go out into the world and get to know other people — specifically my fabulous wattpad readers. so thank you for being here, for reading this, and, hopefully, for reading "black star: the legend begins" and other future stories of mine. i love you.
