Hello everyone!  Long time no update, am I right?
          
          I guess I'll start this update with some exciting news - several months ago, I entered an Undiscovered Writer Contest hosted by The-Writers-Corner and won FIRST PLACE for the Romance category!  I was honestly blown away when I logged into my account a few days ago and saw this news.  Take a peek at my profile to be redirected to their account.  They offer a lot of great things for the writers of Wattpad - including a review center!
          
          As for some other news, I wanted to give you guys a little update on my life and where I have been.  I began writing Riptide over my college's winter break.  Since I didn't have lots of assignments or reading to do, I had a lot of time to really begin thinking of where I wanted this story to go.  But after my break concluded, I became very overwhelmed with getting back into the swing of things and had to put this part of my life on the back burner. But, good news!  I will be graduating in ONE WEEK, which means I will have a lot more time to give this story the TLC that it truly deserves.  
          
          Over the next couple weeks, I hope to revamp what I have already written for this story.  This includes changing up some of the plot that I have created, trying to make some parts a little less cliche, and just generally doing some grammar revisions.  That being said, I will post another update when I have completed these changes so those subscribed to the story can go back and read the updated version.  Does this make sense?  I really hope so.

Hello lovelies!  Fresh chapter of Riptide has just been published.  Let me know what you think.  I'm starting to get really excited about this story.  Even though it's already 9 chapters in, I think the plot is just starting to pick up and things are starting to get interesting.   I sat down last night and wrote the outline for the next couple chapters - soon you all will understand why this story has a mature rating.  I know I may be biased, but I think you all will LOVE it!  Here's a hint: Spring Break.
