I've read the "Throne of Glass" series in a different platform, and I noticed this story contains the same names.. is this by any chance a sequel of sorts?

hey! so it is a sequel, it focuses on the next generation of throne of glass characters. this one focuses on aelin’s eldest daughter but the other characters kids are also in this :)
