I’m actually genuinely pissed at the duffer brothers. don’t get me wrong, I love stranger things and always will, but this volume just tore my heart to pieces and I sorta really expected something completely different.
          that was the most heart-wrenching and anguishing queerbait i’ve ever experienced.

          They promised to address Will’s sexuality in vol 2, and what? Will didn’t even come out to JONATHAN! All the queercoding throughout the WHOLE show too? like… the parallels and the background song lyrics and EVERYTHING. but after all of it they just go and throw an emotional speech from mike to el about his love.
          “the day i met you [Mike to El] in the woods was the day i started to live” stfu mike, ur telling me ALL THOSE YEARS with ur beloved friends (focusing on especially on Will here) meant NOTHING to you? the day Will WENT MISSING was the day you started to live??! what is wrong with you sometimes?!
          and the painting too. i thought it’d be mike and will on the swings were they met or something, like the green paint sneak peak earlier in the show could’ve been the trees around them or something. and no- it’s just dragons and ‘you’re the heart’ bla bla bla.
          also, netflix the duffer brothers and noah literally hyping and hinting byler to then give us rock solid mileven? nah bro i don’t think so.
          and now we have to wait 2 more years for possibly ANOTHER queerbait and will’s potential death.
          
          i’m so upset.

sorry for not updating my heartstopper book, i’m sort of losing interest in it and drifting away from the fandom. i still absolutely love heartstopper works by alice oseman and the characters and everything, but i’m just hyper-fixating on stranger things right now and can’t really stop it.
