I wish I knew why you left. And why it continues to plague me to this day. I’d give it all up to live like I did those years with you. I’ll never ask you to relinquish the part of me you’ve kept all these years, but I still beg for a crumb of closure. Unfortunately, I think this is how it will be for the rest of time. Still grieving one of my first loves.
