13 is not a project im proud of
just felt there was the need to say that
magnoliazw
@novelistASH i do plan on rewriting it. I’m not proud of it because I believe the writing is very boring/basic at times, I feel I had an immature mindset whilst writing it, and I also believe it just generally is poorly written. Some of it is okay, I think "Fall Through" is solid, and the concept is Virginia is good, but otherwise I think it is overshadowed by my much superior works. Of course, it was a necessary stepping stone, but I improved drastically after, and I believe it to be my least likable collection of poetry.

@troyzw You could rewrite the poems within and bring out more of what inspired you to write it in the first place. Why aren't you proud of the project?

almost done with an almost completely new project
and no its not any of the others ive mentioned in the past because i cant seem to finish the others
magnoliazw
when you guys are writing songs or poetry, do you write the title before or after writing the poem?
novelistASH
@troyzw If I have a particularly strong sense of the work I can begin with the title, but most of the time I have to find that as I write.

@troyzw There really isn’t a right or wrong way of doing it, everybody has their own unique creative processes, but if you’re suffering with writer’s block, I’d recommend just spitballing ideas around on a blank page and then deciding on a title when something sticks, instead of limiting your creativity by having a predetermined theme and title lol, but like I said, everybody has their own methods of writing so do whatever works best for you!

@Revilo_2002 i see, i’ve kinda always done title first so I was thinking that might’ve been giving me writer’s block. buttt i probably should use placeholders instead lol

workin on a remaster of one of my oldest projects (and one of my least favorites).
I have about two tracks left, but I might end up taking longer than usually tryna perfect this thing.
I also have another project done, but I plan to upload that one soon (probably by next Wednesday).
magnoliazw
@Revilo_2002 i might remaster some other early works too. On reread, some of it definitely needs some sharpening lol.

@troyzw Take as much time as you need to get it to a standard you’re happy with. I’m excited to see what you’ve been working on with man!
