Hi everyone. It’s been a long time since I’ve been on here. One more month and it would’ve been two years. I honestly have no idea if anyone remembers who I was, but I at least wanted to leave something here. I believe… a year after I left Wattpad I ended up leaving writing altogether, as I grew out of writing yandere stuff. Then I finally started writing for myself, rather than thinking about how many votes or kudos this story would give me. I realized that I had been so focused on gaining fame, that I had forgotten the original creative passion that got me into writing in the first place. I started looking back at my Wattpad years in distaste. And… Looking back on it now… I was an immature teenager, I wrote a lot of… cringe-inducing writings that haunt me in my sleep, and I didn’t know how to use proper dialogue grammar; however, I… I don’t think I would have the same outlook on exploring my creative freedom if it were not for my… cringey fanfiction phase. What I’m trying to say here is, that internet fame doesn’t exist. Don’t focus so heavily on trying to gain followers, votes, or comments, writing is a love letter to the passion you feel for a subject. In forgetting that original passion, you lose the motivation to continue, and your hobby becomes a chore.

I may not have many fond writings to look back on in this era, but hey, I wouldn’t still be writing today if it weren’t for me exploring my writing through fanfiction. And that’s not to say fanfiction is bad, I still write it today. I’ll be signing off for… probably the last time. Farewell, and I hope whoever this message reaches is doing okay.
