This just goes to prove on how obsessed with Lilac and her links in Cardinal.
I was listening to my music and two songs from my playlist immediately think of Lilac.
The first song was “Unstoppable” by Sia and the first two lines of the refrain are as follows:
I put my armor on, to show you how strong I am
I put my armor on, I’ll show you that I am
Lilac’s armor metaphorically is love.
First example of Lilac’s armor: She is constantly fighting for her family that was murdered by her nemesis and for her links and friends to live.
Second example of Lilac’s armor: Her Gift and her training as a mercenary.
In my opinion, Sia’s “Unstoppable” is Lilac’s theme song.
The second song is Rachel Platten’s “Fight Song.” When I heard it, I immediately remembered how Lilac went after Mortem’s gang to save Julie and Lilac summoned her gift to not only protect her links at the gala but when Lilac attacked Mortem’s stooges to save Julie when they were held captive.
Anyways, I understand (as a writer that has yet to publish works) on how crazy the real world works and is but, I am like I said before and cant stress this enough obsessed with Cardinal.
