Lucy (aka wildstyle) reminds me of Astrid from How to Train Your Dragon and Tigress from Kung Fu Panda. All three of them are badass women, don't need protection from the men, and they all love their bf or bestfriend.

Why would it be weird? I mean, she a badass, has gorgeous blue and pink hair, and all the boys fall head of heels for her.

I have a theory. First at the end of the 1st movie, as Emmet and Lucy hold hands the movie zooms out and I can't clearly see them kiss. Second, why would the directors do that? Either the directors think it's inappropriate for kids to see or their saving the kiss for the both of them later on in the future. (P.S I think their saving the big kiss for Emmet and Lucy's wedding!)
