OK, the Demimonde. In Penny Dreadful, it is the world between two worlds. Remember the first Chapter when Vanessa asks Ethan if he believes there is a demimonde? I think she's sitting in front of the Tarot cards. In actuality, it really means "Prostitute". But don't tell the writers that!
