Hi, it's me! You can address me as Maieee or by my first name, Grace. I am an author of Ryeji fanfics and I wrote At First Sight, In Another Realm, and etc. I am leaving this letter to all my supporters and readers because I would like to thank all of you for supporting my work.
Writing is not easy and it takes a lot of effort, ideas, and time to make a masterpiece, and you guys motivate me to keep going. Writing fanfiction has been one of my ways to cope with all the things on my mind, and jotting them down through stories made me feel better. Writing is my escape from my chaotic life, and it did make me feel better. But recently, I've been going through a lot and it's affecting my mentality, which leads me to not think right about making stories. I've realized that I've been so engrossed with my fantasies and imagination that I can't bring myself to face reality and overcome my life problems. I'm a grown up now and I have to face real life and leave my imagination aside.
I will be taking a break from writing and trying to put myself first. My journey as an author has been a rollercoaster ride since I was 13, and now, I think I am ready to face another adventure in other things. My college has been stressing me a lot lately, and I need to work on it and make a serious commitment to it.
I'm going to come back, but not so soon. When I have time to write again, I will keep ya'll posted. Really, guys, thank you for your support. And, if you've ever read one of my works, please leave a comment to let me know, and I'll be reminded of my author self how good I was at doing such works, as well as remembering how many people appreciated my work. It will help me get motivated in life and remind me that I'm amazing.
