Thanks for reading and replying to my comment about the book Elia. I don’t know if you have noticed already, but your comments and mine were already deleted. I received your notification of your reply. When I clicked, all the comments on that thread disappeared. Ever since the author started deleting the comments mentioning similarities to Lilah, I removed from votes. To be honest, despite many similarities to my favorite book, I still liked (not love ♥️) Elia. But deleting comments because one was simply stating FACTS about the similarities seems suspicious to me. Since chapter 25, I’ve taken notes on the similarities of both books (at least 13 so far). That author’s reply to another commenter that she got her “ideas and scenes from pictures and Pintinterest” and that they were all her ideas — I’m not convinced. I’ve read Lilah 9 times, even got the book because I love it so much. So I’ll notice Lilah references. If Elia’s author had given Lilah’s author credit for the inspiration as you have pointed out, I would still have voted for that book. NOT anymore.

@halleyscomet123 I was surprised at first that there were not a lot of comments regarding the similarities to Lilah. I can recall on other books, when references to Lilah were mentioned, there would be many comments on that thread. I discovered her deleting the comments when I received notifications of a reply, then finding the entire thread missing. As far as I know, the book has been removed by the author.
