Just when you thought you'd gotten rid of me.

self aggrandizing jokes are better than self deprecating jokes.

          example:

          “I hate myself”
          no one thinks it’s funny
          everyone’s uncomfortable
and it’s also not healthy especially if it’s true
no it’s not a good coping mechanism for low self esteem, personal experience.

“It’s not easy being this sexy”
most people probably know you’re not serious
no ones uncomfortable unless they’re a tight ass
it’s a great coping mechanism because even if in a sarcastic manner it’s a positive affirmation, because you are sexy and you should own that fact.

@Furry-Gorl they were mine too. giving it up isn’t easy but it’s worth it in the long run. it gives temporary relief but it’s overall destructive. :)

my autistic character: super badass smart guy, logical thinker, can be oblivious but cares a lot, saves everyone with his unique perspective and insight.

my autistic self: crying and writing fan fiction, holding a stuffed animal because my driving instructor yelled at me and I still don’t think I did the thing he said I did wrong and now my weekend is ruined basically.
