Assalamu ‘Alaikum, good people. Hope I find you in good health, on a sunny day and on your husband’s pay day. I just wanted to let you guys know I reposted Sapphire (the new version has 2 new chapters woohoo). I’m editing Ruby, I’m also working on Layla’s book for the FamilyMatters series AND I have picked up a new project. Something different. Exciting. Okay I’ll spill the beans, it falls under the Mystery/Thriller genre. Stay tuned.

          Assalamu’ Alaikum, everyone. I finally get to share something with you today. Sapphire has been picked up by a publishing company - Shaherazad Shelves - and is now officially published!
          
          I read the comments over the years, took your feedback, edited over and over again, sat with an alimah and a student of psychology to review the book and tried to present to you something that you will want to purchase.
          
          From a story I started writing in 2017, to a first draft I shared in 2020, to the final published version I present to you today — I can’t believe we have come this far. And it wouldn’t be possible without you guys.

Assalamu ‘Alaikum everyone. Hope I find you all in good health. This is probably the longest I have stayed away from Wattpad and I don’t ever see myself becoming as regular as I was, but doesn’t mean I have left. I still visit occasionally. I try to keep tabs on what everyone else is doing. I’m still writing.
          
          I plan to publish another book of The FamilyMatters series maybe sometime this year? (Layla’s book, it’ll be another classics retelling). I have very exciting news regarding the Jewels series too that hopefully I’ll get to announce this year as well. Is anyone still interested to read? Do you guys remember the characters or even me? Lol.

Sometimes Allah removes people, delays plans, and changes directions in your life not to punish you but to protect you. We only see the moment; He sees the outcome. You may cry over something you lost today, while Allah is saving you from a pain you would not have survived tomorrow. Trusting Him is not always easy. Some days it feels heavy. Some nights your du’a feels repeated and your heart feels tired. But remember: the One who created your heart understands it better than you do. He knows why you’re waiting. He knows why it hurts. And He promises that after hardship comes ease (Qur’an 94:6). So hold on. Even when you don’t understand the plan, trust the Planner. Allah never wastes your patience, your tears, or your silent prayers.

a token of kindness [ 18th august 2025, monday ] 
          
          "green and gold, bumblebees and blooms, notorious affairs of the innocent homes; half of wounds are entombed in windy trails, while the remaining lie maimed in terraces aged. 
          
          eye and a wisdom tooth, bear and tear, wavelets of death caressing the feeble veil; garbled silences in pictures hung, hung were the joys of the crusted youth. keepsakes assignable, september — a bright shy; one step of risk, one step of ice. 
          
          cliffs and cuts that swallow the shore, earth is an art with its slinky tides and falling feathers; rhythm and rhyme mold the blood, like granules of sand that recognise a home in your skin. 
          
           liquor and tea, a prison and a poison; every scream becomes a rotten whisper. quite a wonder, the heart one carries with pride, the same which injures the soul — punished with suffocation behind clasping ribs, where it beats and beats, severing its rest."

          I saw your reply below. I'll always cherish and remember the characters and your writing ( onek beshi miss korchi ) but I'm glad I got to read it at one point<3
