          "THERE YOU ARE!" hollers someone from the crowd. Amber hides her face.
          "I know... but--"
          "NO EXCUSES!" shouts someone else.
          "I KNOW!" Amber shouts back, furious.
          "BUT-- I WAS IN FRANCE! AND WELL, I LOST MY COMPUTER!" crowd whispers, worried.
          "AND WELL-- I CAN't WRITE!" 
          Crowd booes.
          "DONT GIVE UP ON ME! I'll be back!"
          "FINE!" someone cried out. Amber shuffles off stage, ashamed.
