@malfoyandblack2773 we will have to wait and see how they explain the lack of guards in the next episode. Also, they appear to be even more scene between Alicent and Criston in the future.

@ BustergoldBG    Exactly, I feel there were many gaps in that scene. It's strange that there were no guards present. Additionally, Phia's performance was excellent, but I think what failed was the poorly executed blood and cheese scene, and in the end, everything ended up as a mistake. Also, I believe it was unnecessary to show another scene of Criston and Alicent.

Blood and Cheese a little lacking but good nonetheless, also how was the entire floor where the royal family sleep without a single guard or kings guard (other than Criston Cole having fun one floor below)
