I think I'm gonna be staying solely on AO3 from here on out. Updating on both sites is weirdly exhausting. For any who still want to read my mediocre story, my username is Mami_k there

It's weirdly difficult to muster up the urge to read fanfic these days compared to my highschool days.
          
          There's also something amusing about how I hard it is to "put my work out there". It's been so many years and I still don't know what I'm doing

Somehow mustering the urge to write when no one is reading is more difficult than mustering the urge to draw because at least for the latter I can actually feel a sense of progress while for the former even if my plotting is getting better my writing is still shit

I'm relieved that I could finally rewrite "My friend the delivery god". Call it a vanity project, I don't think anyone's touched this fossil of a story or any of my other works in years, but I without a doubt feel like I couldn't progress with the story I wanted without starting from scratch. Hope anyone who is interested in the characters likes it!

I feel as the years go by I've been growing more and more disinterested in Wattpad. There are still some stories I like but I cleared most of my library out. The whole hacking incident certainly doesn't help things. And as for my own stories- my shame regarding my amateurish writing (especially for my friend the delivery god) as well as various other things has been putting me off them more and more as time goes by. These feelings came back in full blast after I made my own AO3 account about a week ago.
          
          As a result I think I've come to a decision- I'm going to be transferring my writing 100% to my AO3 account and the next update on both of my stories will be a link to the new versions of my story. 
          
          I won't be deleting my account because there are still some stories that I'd like to finish, and I won't be deleting my stories cause even if they are a shameful relic of the past, they're still precious to me.
          
          I should be done with the updated version of at least 3 chapters of both stories by the year's end and I'll change the title of both my works to discontinued when that happens. The new versions of the stories will still follow the general story beats of the originals, but I'll be editing and cutting a LOT till I end up with something I'm halfway satisfied with. I apologise to the few people who enjoyed the unfocused versions at they are, but this is ultimately the decision I've settled on

For anyone curious on my well being, I'd like to announce a few things
          1. I'm not dead
          2. My lack of activity is due to a combination of being busy with med school and just general laziness. I haven't read a fanfic or a physical book in months now and I'm honestly not sure why.
          3. As for my own fanfic, I've been going through writer's block, and just general embarrassment at my last writing. 
          
           Will any of this change? Honestly I'm not sure, maybe cause im no longer a literature student but I haven't been as much of a bookworm as I used to be. That said, at least before the end of the month, I hope I can actually get an update out for both my stories and get up to date on the ones I haven't read in a while, but I can't make any strong promises since I might be busy with exams and the like till late March
