Alright, time for some updates again.
          
          Firstly, Jedi Fugitive has finally reached 100k reads and 4k votes! Absolutely mindblowing as these were the ultimate goals I wanted to reach when I first started publishing, and I honestly never thought I’d reach them. But here we are, and it’s absolutely amazing~ Thanks to everyone who has helped me get here, I appreciate my community more than you’ll ever know!
          
          Secondly, “Jedi Fugitive” has made it to round 3 of the Ambys this year! While I haven’t checked the list exhaustively for everyone I know yet, I made a quick skim and noticed @MDjarin17 has also made the list, so a huge congratulations to her! I’ll be updating again with more congrats from people I know once I’ve checked the list more thoroughly.
          
          And finally, I’d like to apologise for the lack of updates on “Jedi Padawan.” I know I said my hiatus would extend to a month at the most, but truth be told, I haven’t been in a ‘Star Wars mood’ for quite some time. For writing at least, I’m still working on my Mandalorian kit, but as far as the writing goes, let’s say I’ve had some other project interests as of late (I’ve been watching too many other movies). This isn’t to say I’m not ever going to return, I have every intention to begin writing again especially now that uni has finished for the year and I have tons of free time now, but my hiatus may extend longer than I have anticipated.

Breaking my hiatus briefly for a quick report - the first part of the art I commissioned of Astera is done! I’m posting up the relevant references in a final addition to ‘Jedi Fugitive’ and I’ll be doing the same for ‘Jedi Padawan once those are completed too.
          Anyway, 900 views and 50 votes away from 100k reads and 4k votes which is super exciting! Hopefully we’ll hit those milestones when I’m ready to start posting again.

Unfortunately, I think I’ll have to go on short hiatus following the chapter this week. I haven’t been able to get much writing between my assignments and working on my Mandalorian kit (I got a little bit obsessed with that rather than writing). Doesn’t help that I get distracted by pretty much everything XD. Anyway, I’m thinking a month to begin with, two weeks so I can finish my assignments and a further two weeks so I can complete my kit and then get back into the swing of things, writing wise. It could be shorter depending on how things go, but I’ll try my best to make sure it isn’t longer.
          
          Additionally, I want to apologise for not being as active as I normally am. I love interacting with comments and replying to others’ announcements when I can, but I’m just so busy and I find I’m forgetting about Wattpad more often than not. I’ll try to stay active on that front but don’t worry if it takes me a few days to get back to you guys.
          
          Anyway, that’ll be me for a while, hope you all enjoy the chapter this week and I’ll return with new chapters, the commissioned art I have of Astera and a hopefully finished kit to present to you guys!

          I have some news, some good and some a little unfortunate, but it does need to go out there.
          
          I'll start with the good news - I've made an official commission for some art of Astera! Currently it's just an reference for her outfits over the course of "The Jedi of Mandalore" series because I've been DYING to get a real visualisation for years, but I am hoping to get some official scene art of her and Hunter sometime... hehe (PG-13 of course). Anyway, the artist is currently busy with a couple of other commissions, but I will be posting up the outfit reference as soon as it's done with credit due!
          
          Now for the slightly unfortunate news - I've done a tally of the super important assignments I need to do at uni (the ones that'll take a significant chunk of my time), and I'm going to be tied up until about the 7th of October. I'm hoping this won't be a huge issue, but my writing has been progressing slower than I've liked, and I'm only up to chapter 6. My aim is to have that chapter and hopefully one more chapter done by the time the 7th rolls around so I have enough chapters to post until then, but if not, I may have to hold off chapter posting until I'm able to rededicate more of my time to it. I'll update more about this probably next week, but fingers crossed that everything works out.

“Jedi Fugitive” is sooo close to 4k votes and 100k reads I can basically smell it XD. I think those have been the milestones I’ve most been looking forward to and knowing I might actually reach them over the next year is crazy. So thankful that it’s even gotten this far, it’s the start to one of my dreams (being an established writer in some respect).
          
          Anyway, late announcement but it’s always better late than never: the new chapter of “Jedi Padawan” is out and I hope everyone that has already read it has liked it! It’s a small one, but to be honest the whole movie arc is kinda small for it being a whole movie. Partly coz Obi-Wan didn’t play the biggest role in that part and Astera’s gotta go with him as his Padawan.
          
          My Astera Mandalorian armour kit is progressing along well too, thinking I might post some pictures in a character sheet or something when it’s done for a reference to what Astera is supposed to look like. Still need to get some portraits done but I haven’t had the time to look into it ahah.

          Time for the biggest of apologies, I actually almost forgot the release date for “Jedi Padawan” was today. What being off Wattpad for almost a month will do to you…
          
          So I am so so sorry for the ten hour late release, but it is finally here, with the first two chapters ready for perusal! I hope this introduction to Astera’s story meets everyone’s expectations, and get ready for weekly Thursday updates!
