Hello ! I just finished reading experimentation and just wanted to say it js one of the best twins fanfiction. Since 2006 when I discovered the show I became twins and twincest obsessed and still am ^^' so you can imagine I read looooots of fanfics. But yours was the most realistic. Usually people write about Hikaru and Kaoru's love story as if it was any other gay couple. But they are not, they are twin brothers. So as you depicted them, there is a lot of doubt and thinking and emotions involved. They don't just wake up one day and decide to become lovers. They have the weight of their unique situation on their shoulders. So, you taking so many chapters to explain Kaoru's uncertainty and Hikaru's confusion was great. Also, you kept it really in character with many things the twins did or said. I could really imagine them, it was so like them. Too often, Hikaru is portrayed as a tsundere seme and Kaoru just a shy uke but they have a more complex personnality than that and you were able to show it so well during every chapters. Even not just confessing their love and having sex in the same minute is what happens in too many fanfics but still, you could keep it realistic by making them take things slowly.
