**Attention SOMETHING NEW readers**: Just so you are all aware, the next update for the book (Chapter Twenty-Nine) is going to take longer than normal to post. I know what you're all thinking: "But it ALREADY takes you too long to post new chapters!", and you'd all be right. However, this time I have a more legitimate reason for the delay.
I am currently working on another writing project that, unfortunately, is taking up ALL my time. By the time I finish what I need to finish for it in a day, there is legit no time left (or energy in my brain) to spend on Something New. I know, that sucks. And you're probably wondering, "Why do you have to spend so much time on this other project?" and the answer to that is: because I'm under a contract for this other project, so I am contractually obligated to complete a certain amount of material in a certain amount of time...which means this project, for now, takes priority over everything else in my life.
So, what does that mean for Something New right now? It means that this will end up being the longest span in between updates. The good news is that this project is only for a limited time, after which I will be focusing all my energy on Something New. The bad news is that I will probably be spending the next month on the project. So...yeah...you may have to wait a total of 2 months between the last chapter and the next. AND I'M SO SORRY ABOUT THAT.
I will try very hard to still work on Chapter Twenty-Nine whenever I get some free time, to try to get it out to you guys sooner, but there are no guarantees.
I just wanted to let you guys know about this so that you don't think I've given up on writing the story, or was abducted by aliens or something. I will get back to it as soon as possible, I PROMISE. I love Cassie and Dylan too much to stay away from them for too long!
