Sasuke’s importance on Sakura’s character can’t be more obvious here, when it comes to Ino and their rivalry, the first thing she states is about Sasuke and how unappealing Ino is (nevermind she doesn’t know what “Sasuke’s type” is).
Because Sakura ties her self-esteem to how appealing she believes herself to be for Sasuke, she assumes other people do as well, therefore, in order to feel superior, she tries to downgrade both Ino’s self-esteem and importance when it comes to “Sakura’s radar”. Yet they once again completely and conveniently IGNORE THE EXPLANATION THAT CAME LITERALLY DIRECTLY AFTER THAT SCENE

All Sakura was trying to do there, was to push Ino’s buttons to ensure that Ino didn’t hold back, because despite what this person says, this was indeed about Sakura’s growth as a person.
