Hi! Today is Transgender Remembrance Day. Let’s all just take a moment to remember all of the trans* people who have died of a transphobic act. 
          
          I’ll be writing a message on my arm:
          
          Hate is a choice. Being trans* is not.
          
          Stop the hate.
          Show respect.
          We’re all human.

I had school today but some of my friends knew it was today and I have been thinking about all of the lives lost at points in the day when I haven’t been doing anything. I haven’t managed to go to a table or anything but I had the message on my arm for the whole day and because it’s my first trans* day whilst knowing I’m transgender, I felt that was enough.

             I've showed up at a table at lunch that was all for it; we had pictures and the stories of 3 trans people who have taken their lives. It was pretty saddening, but I got through without a tear. 
            
            How has yours gone?
