No progress on My Hero. I’m thinking of rewriting some of the first story in light of recent events in the manga. I think writing a story like this in the middle of such an intense arc was a mistake. So I’ll probably wait until the arc is over, and then I’ll start up the book again. In the meantime, I’ll go forward with the third book, since it’s disconnected enough that all I’ll need to do is change a few things. But don’t expect the books for a while.

Endgame is still in the works. I’m trying to make progress. And hopefully I can have it done before the end of the year. But I’m having trouble juggling everything. I think I’m going to start focusing on that. That way I can get it done and out of the way. I’ll have one less series to worry about.

Demons of the Past (PJO) is still under a hard hiatus. I’m completely dead on where to take it. Maybe once I get some of these things done, I can get it going again, but I doubt it.

Demons of the Past (Rebellion Chronicles) is also under hold. I’m also deep in writer’s block on that. Right now, the Fate Series is my main focus. At some point, I might put that on hold to continue my shorter-term projects, but don’t expect that anytime soon.

And here we go. I know I’m a little late with this update. However, I’ve been going through some shit. I’m currently in therapy, I’m working on getting some anti-depressants, and I’m dealing with senior year. But, here’s the update.

I’m almost to the end of my finished chapters with Fate’s Hymn. And I still have more chapters to write. I’m going to try and get to Thayden’s next chapter, but I can’t make that promise. However I’m going to try my best. I’m working on things. Hopefully I’ll be able to make some progress on Tuesday. But chapter thirty-eight is out. Chapter thirty-nine will be published tomorrow.

As some of you may know, I have abandoned the original Fate Series. I just couldn’t handle it anymore. I’m just so much more invested in the revised series. Which is now just the regular series. I’ll eventually get to where I was in Fate’s Song again. Eventually. And if anyone who doesn’t want to wait that long, or read the revised series, then they can PM me and I’ll tell them what I had planned for the rest of the book, as well as the sequel.

manlyson

Alright, so after thinking long and hard on it, I have decided to abandon the Fate Series. Now don’t misunderstand me, I don’t mean the Revised Fate Series, but the original one. For the last four months, I have not updated Fate’s Song, and that’s because I hit a burnout on it. After so much time with the Revised characters, I found that they just mean so much more to me. And I’m also struggling to maintain the two side-by-side narratives. So I’m abandoning the original.

Now here’s what this means for everything. I will publish all chapters I currently have written up of Fate’s Song, and then an Author’s Note that explains all of this. Fate’s Hymn will also be updated with this author’s note. I will then do a little bit of rebranding. Fate’s Hymn and Fate’s Song will be changed to *Their respective names* [ARCHIVED]. And Fate’s Hymn: Revised will just be changed to Fate’s Hymn.

Now this was not an easy decision. Fate’s Hymn is the longest book I have written, although by March 15th, Revised will have as many chapters and still only be starting the second story arc. I really did try, but I think this is for the best. For everyone that read both of the original stories, thank you.

Yeah, I wasn’t going to have enough room on the first post. So here’s number two!

Demons of the Past (PJO Edition) is still on hiatus. I haven’t even started on chapter five. I don’t even have it on the Wattpad writer yet. It’s something I’ve lost my muse with. Hopefully I’ll get it back, but I can’t make that promise.

The HoO trilogy is coming along nicely. I’m still on chapter six of the final book, but I’ve pushed past my writer’s block. Hopefully that’ll be out by the end of the month.

So, next to last thing. Two months ago, I mentioned a My Hero trilogy. You can just scroll back a few posts and you’ll see the details. I’m not putting it here. I have quite a bit written out for one and three. Less so for two, but I have to get farther in one so I can maintain the consistency of the story and not have to go back and change details. Once again, I’m not giving any details on when it’ll be done. I at the very least want to get the first one to a good enough place before I publish it. I don’t think six completed chapters, with chapter seven still in the works is a good enough place. As I get more and more done, I’ll provide more info. But the trilogy is coming along nicely. And hopefully you’ll be able to read at least the first few chapters of one by this time next year.

Last thing. I swear. Recently I got an idea. Take the characters of Fate’s Hymn, and transplant them into the My Hero universe. I already have a scene written out. However, I also have a few other things down, as well as a bit of the first chapter. It’s nothing too big yet, and I don’t even know if I’ll publish it, but if that is something you guys might want to see, just tell me. Please, for the love of everything that is holy, tell me.

With that, I will bid you all adieu.

I’ve been surprisingly good about monthly updates lately. It’s a lot easier than weekly updates. So, let’s get started.

First things first. I just published chapter thirty-two of Fate’s Hymn: Revised. A little note here, my friends who help me with this story, whom I mention in my bio, for the longest time only had up to chapter thirty. This was due to me not being able to put the chapters on Google Docs. However, I finally got them onto my doc. While I know for sure that one (Ansetla) hasn’t read them, I don’t know about the other (AppMayJay). So as of right now, everyone that’s up to date with Hymn, you are now farther ahead than at least one of my story consultants. Nice little note that I wanted to mention. Another thing, I recently did the math. The next two rotations of the book will take you all the way to chapter forty-eight. While I haven’t written that far ahead, eight weeks is still a long time to get my shit together. That’ll take you all the way to December 28th. The last Monday of the year. I think I’ll do what I did this year come January. Take a break for a month and then be back on the first week of February. The Rise of the Fallen God story arc ends at chapter forty-nine. I still have yet to decide if I like you guys enough to publish the finale to the story arc before taking a month long break.

Rebellion Chronicles is still on hiatus. Like I said, don’t expect anything until the end of the year. However, a few ideas have hit me recently. So hopefully I can get back to writing it soon. I’ve also recently started work on a revised Blood Trials. I’m not that far into it, and I can’t say when it’ll be done, but it’s in the works. I’m probably going to publish on the basis I’ve been for most of my books now. Write chapters ahead of time and publish them weekly. Already it fixes some of the flaws in the original story, and I’m only two-and-a-half chapters in.

Alright, let’s do this one last time (not really). Let’s run through everything.
Rebellion Chronicles Book 2: Still on hiatus. Going to be a little bit before I get the muse to write it again. So don’t expect an update on it for the rest of the year.
Fate’s Song: Once again, hit a block. I’m mostly focused on Hymn Revised. I’m not sure if I want to abandon it yet or not. I’ll make a decision soon. If I do decide to abandon it, I’d publish all chapters I currently have written as drafts, and explain that it’s abandoned. So keep an eye out on that.
Demons of the Past: Once again, on hiatus. Nothing more on that.

Endgame: I’ve hit a bit of a block, and haven’t really had a muse. So that’ll be a little bit. However, it’s coming along nicely. I’m not sure how long it’ll be, but it’ll be no more than fifteen chapters. So that’ll be coming to a close soon. Probably by this time next year.
Fate’s Hymn Revised: This is where I’m really making progress. I just published chapter twenty-eight (I was late, and I’m sorry), but I have up to chapter forty-one written up. So far I have twelve weeks worth of chapters written out, and I’m hard at work on the next cycle. So hopefully I can keep that going.

Beyond that, I have nothing else. I’m starting my senior year of high school soon, however, I’m also going to be doing online schooling because of personal reasons, as well as some virus or some shit going around. So, hopefully I can keep my writing muse going. However, I’ll probably hit a huge block soon. So don’t be surprised if come December or January, I hit a huge block. But hopefully that doesn’t happen. Anyway, I’ll let everyone GP. Bye-bye!

manlyson

Last one I promise.

I cannot say when these will be out, or how I’ll even publish them, whether on a chapter-by-chapter or in bulk. The only thing I can say is that they are confirmed. Also, as an important note, I watch the dub. Because of a few reasons.
          1. I can understand it.
          2. I default to dub if I have the option.
          3. The My Hero dub is actually really damn good.
So I’ll be defaulting to that. While not much changes, there will be a few things. Except in a few specific cases that probably won’t come up in these stories, I will not use Sensei in a sentence. One for All: Full Cowl is Full Cowling to me. Little things like that. Nothing too noticeable, and you probably won’t even notice it if I don’t bring it up. Anyway, I can confirm, this is the last post.

manlyson

Like I said, won’t be the last. There might be another one after this. In fact probably will.

My Hero Academia 2: This book is less connected to the other two. It deals with Izuku’s depression that he most likely has (bullied most of his life, found out he was Quirkless when everyone he knew had one, mother didn’t support him when he needed it most, mentor placed a huge responsibility on his shoulder that no child should have to bear) but hasn’t been addressed and likely will never be addressed in the anime/manga.

My Hero Academia: This is the one I’m looking forward to most. It picks up roughly fifteen years after the end of the first book. Class 1-A has gone on to become heroes, and Izuku is the number one hero and the new Symbol of Hope (I watch the dub. I know that All-Might is/was the Symbol of Hope in the sub, but he’s the Symbol of Peace in the dub. I’m making an important distinction there). He’s the most powerful person on the planet and no one can hope to beat him. However, he still keeps seeing visions of himself dying, and the spark of One for All fading. So, despite his young age, he begins looking for a successor. He finds one in the most unlikely of places. His daughter.

manlyson

Told you. Still probably won’t be the last.

Now onto my final announcement. After recently being introduced to the awesomeness that is My Hero Academia, I have decided to bite the bullet. I have three fanfics in production. Right now, I have them labeled as My Hero Academia 1, 2, & 3. These will not be the final names! Repeat, will not be the final names... Most likely will not be the final names! Anyway, they’re part of a trilogy as well. I love my trilogies.
My Hero Academia 1: This picks up right where chapter 274 of the manga left off. So if you’ve read the manga, or you don’t care about spoilers, you can jump right in. For those that only watch the anime, if you want to read this without spoilers, you’ll probably have to wait until like, season six or even seven. It is an Izuku/Ochaco story (my friend insulted me for shipping the two of them when I first told her about it by saying ā€œStraightā€. Say what you will about LGBT+ representation, Deku is obviously straight. I am keeping this book as canon compliant as I can, and I won’t give him a gay ship just for the sake of having a gay ship. Besides, I ship Kirishima and Bakugo, so there you go.) which focuses on the final battle between the League if Villains (which is renamed to the Paranormal Liberation Front through means that I won’t get into. It’ll probably be late season five or early season six that it’s addressed.) It also covers 1-A’s second and third years.
