i haven’t been on here in forever holy shit lemme revamp my account a little bit one sec

a new ‘what i’ve been loving’ post!

          -i’ve been making good use of tumblr and letterboxd lately 
          -the movie submarine! i just watched it and i absolutely fell in love. the visuals and aesthetic are especially gorgeous.

a summary of trinkets aka my new favourite show (spoilers!!!!):
          
          quiet edgy lesbian with daddy issues and a dead mom moves to portland and meets stereotypical bad girl who is not a bad girl who worships her mom and keeps hooking up with some soccer dude, and rich and popular mean girl (who is, however, played by a person who is non-binary irl and i u don’t respect their pronouns i will snatch ur kneecaps) who isn’t actually mean and has a shitty dad and a physically and emotionally abusive boyfriend and deserves so much better i’m so sorry sweetie and they go around stealing things and they accidentally destroy shitty abusive boyfriend’s car and hide it in a lake and all of their lives fall off the rails and cool lesbian is going to be sent away to a mental facility by her dad but she runs away from home and joins her rockstar girlfriend on her tour and popular rich girl secretly gets with the really hot college-age guy who isn’t actually in college which might sound weird but he’s like the only guy who seems treats her right and bad girl who isn’t actually bad gets stood up by her dad who just got out of jail and gets removed from like a study abroad program thingy she was planning on doing next semester because she punched rich girl’s shitty abusive boyfriend in the face and that’s how it ends
          
          oh and this whole time there’s really really good indie music playing like the soundtrack s l a p s
