A 72 yr old retired international business man now devoted full time to writing.  I have published three books including "Smiles in Africa," My Boy - a memoir" and most recently "The Poisoned Banquet".
I've done a fair amount of journalism and feature stuff since I retired.
I am happily married to Dawn, and i have a daughter Victoria in UK.
I love to cook because i love to eat, I also adore walking the beach, drinking wine (fine or coarse) not to mention the lovely rums of the Caribbean where I spend half my time.
I love to read and listen to music, a bit fuddy duddy about the music and can't abide heavy metal, but I love jazz, swing and everything from Bach to Bela Bartok.
My favourite books include: The life of Pi, Half a yellow Sun, Me before You, before I go to sleep, and many many others.
My next book is a collection of short stories that will be faction, using my very wide experience of travelling the world. I've  tentatively called it "The psychedelic traveller" It'll be ready by May 2013.
I write primarily because I love to, but it would be nice to have a hit.  "My Boy" is to be used as the centre piece for a charity campaign later in the year, all the royalties I've pledged to the charity.
I'm very independently minded, but even i could do with some support and encouragement from other authors, so I hope wattpad might be the start of something worthwhile.
