how does one receive motivation enough to actually continue writing a story after only one chapter? Please inform me when somebody finds out.

I'm reading my old incomplete fanfics I wrote last year and wtf I am good at this shit. All I need is a little bit on confidence, a hell lot of motivation and well ehm loads of skill lol
