guys, and especially new readers who apparently skipped the part where basic reading etiquette was taught, please stop comparing my fmcs/mmcs to characters from other books.
i genuinely do not care that you “miss” another mmc, that another fmc was “better,” or that you need to leave five comments in one chapter reminding everyone how much you preferred some other character.
you’re reading MY books these are my characters. they are not replacements for whoever you’re obsessed with from another story, nor do i need a running comparison between them every three paragraphs it's very weird.
read, enjoy, dislike, whatever. but repeatedly comparing my characters to someone else’s great characters as well is weird and disrespectful.
